Post New Year, I find myself struggling to restart my career transition after a much-needed break. There is a big void in my chest where my old life used to be. Although I feel a sense of lightness and wholeness, there’s also a lingering uncertainty about my path forward. It’s a bit overwhelming. I have big plans, and it seems my motivation is to become the best version of myself. I find myself wondering why this is so important to me, and the answer remains elusive.

Recently, I completed a survey based on Taibi Kahler’s Driver’s Concept to gain some more clarity on the patterns I rely on when navigating emotional challenges and stressful situations. I learned that I have a good mix of Be Strong, Hurry Up, Be Perfect, and Please Others. Not so high on the Try Hard! I can see how these are supporting me through this period of change, but what’s motivating me?

I genuinely want a new path that feels different from my past. This lifestyle change isn’t just a goal for me; it resonates deeply with my desire to help others, while fulfilling my responsibilities and finding personal satisfaction. While the journey may be daunting, I’m committed to making this transition work for me. Time to get moving - here come those Drivers pushing me on!
